Allied Health Sciences & Pre-Professional Orientation

Welcome Aboard, Class of 2027! We can’t wait to meet you.

ECU is a leader in healthcare — it’s part of our mission and strategic plan. We have the largest College of Allied Health Sciences and offer six undergraduate majors: Clinical Laboratory Science, Health Information Management, Health Services Management, Nutrition Science, Rehabilitation Services, and Speech & Hearing Science. We also provide advising for those first-year students who are interested in a health profession (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc) but undecided on a major.

We put together this map to help you chart your course to a health profession. We recommend you that you visit the pages in the order they are listed. Box/link two (Health Professions Orientation) only applies to those students who plan to go on to graduate or professional school after earning a Bachelor’s degree.

Beginning April 24 at 1:00 pm, you can register for fall classes if you have paid your enrollment deposit and registered for New Student Orientation.
